Bring a couple damaged items along for this workshop with Claudia, who will show you how to make your own textile repairs. Examples of items you can bring are garments with tears or missing buttons, bags with detached straps or burst seams, or sad plushies in need of some TLC.
Some examples of items you could bring: Garments with tears, missing buttons, or in need of hemming. Bags with burst seams or detached straps. Sad plushies that need some TLC.
Repair supplies are provided. Limited to 2 items per person, per class.
Repair PDX is keeping this a small event and charging on a sliding scale. The intention is to have a small group so that everyone gets the one-on-one help they need. Repair supplies will be provided, but you're also welcome to bring your own.
Claudia has more than 30 years of experience as a professional seamstress, and is a longtime volunteer who has fixed all manner of fabric items at Repair Café events.
Limited to two items per person per workshop. Registration is required.
